About Me

Stephan Merkle serves as Client Success Manager on the Community team, where he helps clients get unstuck and make steady progress. He is often the first live face new members meet, a responsibility he approaches with energy and care. Stephan’s background includes licensed health insurance sales at USHEALTH, where he learned to prioritize helping over hard selling, and a wide range of roles at BBG, from sales support and executive assistance to social media lead generation, intro calls, and onboarding. He has helped automate the sales support function and recently partnered with operations to streamline the cancellation pipeline. Within Client Success, he has improved retention by refining the buyout process and leading modification calls. Stephan earned a BS in Integrated Marketing Communications from the University of Mississippi and was BBG’s first Team Member of the Month. He credits Chris Voss’s “Never Split the Difference,” along with mentorship from Rory and AJ Vaden, for shaping a servicedriven approach that blends negotiation skill with empathy. His aim is constant: be a reliable guide, keep people engaged, and help them win.
