With more access to tools, apps, guides, and websites than ever before, it can be super overwhelming. That will not be the case here. I pulled 3 tools that every single beginner Brand Builder needs to be aware of and why they are useful!

HubSpot Blog Idea Generator

Your blog is the heart of your brand. This is what will keep all the pieces moving in order to grow your brand the way you envision. But for some of us, content creation is not second nature. We struggle to come up with new ideas and topics to speak on and write about. That is why this is going to be your dream tool. All you have to do is type in a noun and a list of ideas come flowing through for every day of the week. For example, when I type in branding, some ideas I get are ‘The Next Big Thing in Branding’ and ‘Branding: Expectations vs Reality.’ In fact, I like that last one so much, I may just use it!

Over

This is an app that is very similar to Canva and allows you to edit and add text to your photos and video. It is just as easy to use and I love the value it provides. The feature that sets it apart is it’s ‘Discover’ section that keeps you up to date on what’s trending and also provides very handy social hacks. I also love the vibrant, fun colors so I typically am drawn to this app over Canva.

CapGenius

When posting to Instagram, Twitter or even LinkedIn, it can be a challenge to come up with a clever caption to go with your photo. That is why I’m such a fan of CapGenius. Let me warn you, the ideas they give you are often very cheesy. However, if you allow yourself to get creative, it can typically spark an idea that leads to a great caption. It is super easy to use. All you have to do is download the app, adjust your settings to allow it to be accessed as a keyboard, and you are all set to go!
