I don't think you can hear these things enough:
You have to be willing to #promote your #message
.
You can't ever grow weary in promotion and you have to constantly be out there promoting loud & far & wide if you're going to #compete.
.
You can hear @thealbertosardinas @albertosardinas #enthusiasm for his message as he is talking about it!
.
I struggle with this, I always feel like I'm pandering. I feel #cheesy. People see this all the time on #instagram...you know “Leave me a comment” or something like that.
.
I just really #struggle with doing that for some reason.
.
But #it'snotaboutyou, it's about your message and it's about the people you're helping and you need to promote.
.
You need to be willing to do that.
.
#albertosardinas has done a great job of that, particularly in his #spanish market. It’s #fascinating to see, similar to us, he's going through this #reinvention in the English speaking #market. It's fun to see that.
.
You all should go and listen to his #interview There’s something that's #unique but also not unique about every single one of them that we've had is the amount of #patience #consistency and #longevity in which these people have been doing and #honing their skills .
How did you get all that? Well, it's cause they’ve been doing it a #longtime.
.
Alberto been doing it since he was 17. He was trying to get time on the local #radio stations when he was going from high school to college and did it all through college and then majored in this and then went and got his masters in #broadcasting.
.
#thisdidnthappenovernight.
.
Sometimes I think it's really easy to look online and be like, Oh wow. I wonder what their #secret is? I wonder what their #key is?
.
The real secret is there is no secret. It is a lot of #hardwork, but a really long time.
.
In English speaking radio, there are basically 3 people at the top. #rushlimbaugh @glennbeck and @daveramsey
Dave was talking about how if you just stick around, you're gonna beat 80% of the people.

I was reading the book by @simonsinek , #startwithwhy

I feel that the stronger #yourwhy the stronger your #delivery in any platform.
.
It doesn't matter where you're trying to get to because at the end of the day, we'll know that we have to be where our audience is or could be.
.
I learned a powerful concept many years ago when I was studying to be a #radiohost in #venezuela.
.
The #secret to #improvising is not to #improvise.
.
That means that I am ready to #speak with you about a subject in a fluent way when I know what I'm going to talk about.
.
Unfortunately, a lot of people #focus so much on form. They become perfectly familiar with the #delivery and make sure that #words are carefully chosen, etc. That they forget about the #essence of the message
.
People are not going to give us their #attention if that happens, which is one of their most #valuable assets.
.
We can’t only be there trying to show how good we are.
.
We're trying to deliver a message and it has to be #missiondriven
.
That’s one of the reasons why I like the work that you guys do so much because you help everybody & you helped me gain #clarity that's necessary to be able to deliver a #message.
.
No one will be comfortable in front of a mic. Whether it’s a #podcast or #liveradio- if their message is not clear, if their #intention or their #purpose is not clear.
.
Don't prepare that message by memorizing it.
.
Make sure that you have a message that you feel very #passionate about and that you could talk about for hours.
.
And then when the light goes on or the #microphone, when you're #live on the #radio, you will be prepared to tackle that to get the attention of people.
.
When we're trying to #speak, all we're begging for is for the #attention of others because we believe that our message has #value
.
And unprepared message it is not strong we don’t love or couldn’t talk about for hours a weak message

We need the #passion the #encouragement and transmit that #energy to others showing them our message is #valuable
