I’ll admit it. I was not always a Rachel Hollis fan, but I was intrigued by her. I also respected what she has built and wanted to know more about her story, her beliefs, and her business. When I found out that she was speaking at an event that I already bought a ticket too, I was excited to learn and to finally see what this woman is all about. And man – I was not disappointed. Now, I want to go to the events that she actually puts on! These points were so strong that they need to be shared, so here we go.

Go ahead, do yourself a favor, and read that 5 more times. We all need to go out and suck at something. ANYTHING. Because the first time you try anything, you will suck at it. That is a promise! You do not need to figure out what’s good and what’s great. Your audience will tell you. “You know people because of the value they add to your business.”

 

People in this space are paying attention to those that help create value for them. Are you sharing their content, hyping them up, pulling quotes and creating art around it? If you are trying to break through, look for ways to create value for those around you!

She shared how people kept asking about her morning routine and how she never thought to post about it because it was just a part of her routine. But the key here is that when people are asking for something, give it to them! When you are in communication with your audience, they will tell you how to serve them best. It is almost a fail-proof system in my opinion.

This is another one you probably should read again. One thing about Rachel Hollis that she brings it. She brings the energy, the humor, and the truth. However, remind yourself that people have no idea what you posted a week ago… YOU don’t even remember what you posted! All people care about is that you are consistent and that you show up.

Preach it, sister. One common thread among a lot of the ‘influencers’ out there today is that many of them only have high school diploma but that doesn’t mean they only have a high school education. She has built her high 8-figure business with 52 employees based on what she has found on GOOGLE. I challenge you right now, that thing that you say you don’t know how to do, go google it!
